Summary note
Half a millennium after the Englihtenment, the battle between Faith and Reason still rages. In India, the world's largest democracy, the ideology that murdered Mahatma Gandhi has finally captured power. Upper caste Hindu majoritarians target nationalists, minorities, and all those who fight for the poor. A complicit corporate media allows murder and mind control to dismantle a secular democracy that once aspired to Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. And yet, Reason refuses to die.
