Summary note
The painter's manual of Dionysios of Fourna. This is a post-Byzantine manuscript, written in Greek script in black ink, which contains introductory sections on icon painting techniques and describes hundreds of figures of saints, Old and New Testament events, parables, feast days, and decorations of churches.

Physical description: 31-33 lines a page; 4to; collation: Α18 Β-Γ32 [Δ]22: [104] folios. Folios are missing at the beginning (12) and the end (10) of the manuscript, as well as between A7 and A8 queries (2); without pagination or foliation. Titles and elaborate initial letters in red ink.
Text begins as follows: "[...]on anthrakophoron la/[...] en tē aristera vastōn charti ..." and ends: "... To hagion Mandyl[...].
