    • The original manuscript was produced around 1320-30, most likely in Normandy. It includes the Apocalypse text (in both Latin and French) beneath large and refined half-page miniatures. The manuscript belonged to the collection of the Val-Dieu Charterhouse library in the 17th century. The first folio bears the inscription Ex Libris Cartusiae Vallis Dei.
