Most Heinz products manufactured in Britain are recorded in this archive. As well as advertising and marketing material, this collection contains historical photographs, jar and can labels and material relating to its UK factories, their operations, product development and packaging. There is also a selection of TV commercials and historic film footage.
Silent footage of a Heinz factory and its construction, followed by clips of newspapers showing an A.R.P warning, and images of the air raid shelters. Lastly, footage portraying the effects that the Second World War had on Heinz.
