    Binding note
    Contemporaneous type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and stamped corner motifs. Blind-tooled decorative edging. Yellow paper pastedowns with block-pressed design. Only quires for the first work are sewn.

An encyclopedia of fourteen sciences, namely: theology, exegesis, tradition, elements of jurisprudence, law of inheritance, syntax, grammar, calligraphy, semantics, elocution, rhetoric, anatorny, medicine and mysticism.
    • 2. fol. 1a-98a, second group: Hādhā Kitāb Itmām al-dirāyah sharḥ al-Nuqāyah / taʼlīf Abī al-Faḍl ʻAbd al-Raḥmān Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī. A commentary on the authorʼs own work al-Nuqāyah.
    • 3. fol. 1a-34b, third group: Kitāb Irshād al-qāṣid ilá asná al-maqāṣid / taʼlīf Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Sāʻid al-Anṣārī. A compendium of sciences discussing the subject matter of each science, its aims and usefulness and enumerating some books on each science.
