Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; some headings in yellow ; watermarks (roman-alphabet letters "EAC", shield with a face-in-the-moon) ; MS in good condition.

On the folio before title page is a list of the names of the works contained in the MS. There are blank folios between each title. Title page of 4th work (fol. 82a) has a statement on the title page says that the work was completed by Aḥmad ibn ʻUmar ibn Zayn ibn ʻAlawī ibn Sumayṭ Bāʼalawī. After the colophon of the final text (fol. 150b) is a statement by a different and later hand that the work was written by Muḥammad ibn Ṭāhir ibn al-Ḥusayn at the request of Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Saqqāf ʻAlawī.

1. fol. 1a-60b: Hādhā Kitāb Sharḥ al-Miʻrāj / Aḥmad Shihāb al-Dīn al-Qalyūbī. A commentary on the work of al-Ghayṭī on the Ascension of the Prophet entitled Qiṣṣat miʻrāj al-Nabī.
2. fol. 63a-78b: Hādhihi al-Mubashshirāt fī sharḥ al-mukaffirāt / ʻAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-Kurdī al-Baytūshī. A commentary on the author's own versification of the atoning deeds as they are enumerated in al-Khiṣāl al-mukaffirah li-al-dhunūb al-mutaqaddimah wa-al-mutaʼakhkhirah of Ibn Ḥajar al-ʻAsqalānī.
3. fol. 78b-79b: al-Adʻiyah al-mustaṭābah fī al-Adʻiyah al-mustajābah. An ode with commentary based on Suyūṭī's Sihām al-is̄ābah fī al-adʻiyah al-mujābah.
4. fol. 82a-106b: Kitāb Fatḥ al-Raḥmān fīmā yaḥṣulu bi-hi al-Islām wa-al-īmān / taʼlīf Muḥammad ibn Ziyād al-Waḍḍaḥī. A book on the articles of Muslim faith, ceremonial purity and prayer with a decorative title page.
5. fol. 109b-150b: Maslak qarīb li-kull sālik munīb. A ʻʻmissalʼʼ of Muslim prayer with complete instructions.

Fol. 1a has three ownership signatures: Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Aḥmad Bā Hārūn dated 1248; [name obscured] dated 1252; and Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Saqqāf. al-Saqqāf's signature is repeated on fol. 63a.
