This collection was formed in 1992 by gathering uncatalogued medieval and Renaissance manuscript leaves, miniatures, cuttings, fragments, and individual pre-1601 documents found in the Department of Rare Books and Special Collections. Subsequently, the collection has been expanded by gift and purchase. Princeton MS. 138 serves as an open collection for new accessions of manuscript leaves.
