Notes
Title from printed catalog.
The Taylor leaf collection is one of at least seven such collections assembled by the American antiquarian bookseller Bernard M. Rosenthal and sold to libraries between 1961 and 1981. Rosenthal arranged the 89 leaves, cuttings, fragments, and documents in the present collection by size and then approximate century. They are numbered consecutively and housed in four boxes: I:1-25; II:26-50; III: 51-77; IV:78-89 (oversized).
Provenance
Robert H. Taylor, Class of 1930, purchased this collection from Rosenthal and donated it to the Princeton University Library in 1962 (accessioned as AM 21140).
Source acquisition
Gift; Robert H. Taylor, 1962.
