Summary note
Contains seven Royal and Papal seals spanning the 13th to the 19th century and including Louis XVIII of France, Pope Leo X, and Pope Boniface VIII.
This collection consists of two papal lead seals (Pope Leo X and Pope Boniface VIII), as well as five French royal wax seals including one for King Louis XVIII. The seals were collected by Junius Spencer Morgan, an art collector and Princeton alumnus.
