Digital image of a document including genealogies of the former rulers of Shughnan and their descendants down to approximately the early 20th century in both prose and verse.
Notes
Incipit: بنام پاك بسم الله الرحمن خداوندي زمين چرخ گردان بيان سازم بنام شاه شاهان همي بودند اندر ملك شغنان
Explicit: مهرافزون ابن یوسف علی شاه زن سید نادر خان
The MS begins with 5 pages of poems in praise of the rulers of Shughnan and their families. The verse section concludes on the margins of page 6, after which the prose section of the text begins.
Simple illuminated framing on some folios with geometric designs
Original document is a modern notebook in good condition. The text is in a clear, legible hand, primarily in black ink, with some marginal additions in blue or red ink. The MS is not dated but based on the condition it appears to be fairly recent, dating to the late 20th century or later.
Copyist: autograph.
Date: Not listed (20th century).
