Summary note
Digital image of a document presenting an account of the genealogy of the Nizārī Ismāʿīlī imāms followed a list of the main Nizārī pīrs (primary representatives of the imāms). The document is incomplete and appears to be missing a substantial portion of the original. The subject of the title apparently refers to one of the Aga Khans. However, it is not clear which Aga Khan is intended, as the genealogy is incomplete. The genealogy of the imāms begins with the Prophet Adam and breaks off with the early Fatimid imāms. The genealogy of the pīrs reflects the South Asian or Khoja/Satpanth tradition, and not the Central Asian tradition. Therefore, the text was probably copied from a South Asian Ismāʿīlī source.
