Summary note
Yi Sun-shin, a 28-year-old rebel, meets some people who change his whole life: soldiers from North and South Korea, traveling back from the future, who have stolen a nuclear bomb, Under utmost secrecy, the Koreas start to jointly develop a nuclear weapon called bigyeokjincheonroe (named after a time bomb used during the Imjin War (1592-1599)), When the two Koreas decide to hand over the warhead to the United States, a North Korean military officer by the name of Kang Min-gil decides to take matters into his own hands and not only steal the bomb with the help of a band of private soldiers, but kidnap the South Korean scientist who helped create it, as well, South Korean Navy officer Park Jeong-u is sent to capture the rogue soldiers and reclaim the weapon, In the midst of a battle on the Apnok river (cf, Yalu river), the soldiers are suddenly transported back through time, thanks to the appearance of a huge comet passing by the earth, They encounter the young, disillusioned Yi Sun-shin, who will go on to become a hero, The soldiers, finding themselves back in time, are terrified by flying axes and bows directed at them by the Chin tribe, They immediately take cover using their guns and hide in a cave after the Chin tribe withdraws, startled at the power of the ultra-modern weapons, On that day, a young man named Yi Sun-shin sneaks into the cave and steals those weapons, YesAsia.com
