Summary note
Digital image of a document presenting the genealogy of Khvājah Nūr al-Dīn, whose shrine is located in the village of Basid in the Bartang valley. The document traces his genealogy back to the figure of Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥanafiyya (a son of Imām ʻAlī) and continues with the genealogy of ʻAlī back to Adam.

  • The original document is preserved behind glass in a frame affixed to the wall of the shrine. While the paper has some staining and weather damage the text is fully legible.
