  • Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (modern endpapers: "Ingres d'arches", "MB...", "(France)"; text: hunting horn)
  • Decoration: Five 2-line red initials faded to pink, with faint penwork flourishes extending into the margins. Many capitals washed in ochre. On fol. 29v is an early modern pen drawing of a man.
  • Origin: Produced in Florence after 1436.
Binding note
Later binding. London, England, early 20th century by Sangorski & Sutcliff. Dark brown goatskin over pasteboard. Blind-tooled edging. Gold-stamped title and author on spine.
