    Provenance
Garrett MS. 133 was written in Thuringia by Caspar Lewenhagen (i.e., Löwenhagen), whose colophon is on fol. 33r. Lewenhagen was presumably connected with either the Dominican or Franciscan house in Mühlhausen, where he also copied another manuscript, in the Stadtarchiv Mühlhausen, which he signed and dated 1443, adding the words “bonumsocium.” Robert Garrett (1875-1961), of Baltimore, Maryland, Class of 1897, purchased the manuscript from the Munich bookseller Ludwig Rosenthal. Garrett first placed the manuscript on deposit at the Princeton University Library in 1904 as no. 5670, recorded in pencil on fol. 3r. His gift to Princeton University Library, 1942.
