Summary note
Akyol is a Turkish singer and master of the baglama, a member of the oud/saz/lute family. Here, Akyol has composed or arranged twelve ancient Turkish poems for diverse chamber music ensembles ranging from 2 to 16 players of western classical as well as Turkish classical instruments.
