Notes
Collection of Italian and French madrigals in four parts (SATB). Table of contents in alphabetical order called "Tavola Delli Madrigali Numero 26" at the end of each partbook.
Updated imprint. A preliminary evaluation of vendor-supplied information and images has led Jessie Ann Owens (Princeton *78) to conjecture a printing date between 1554 and 1559; this partbook may represent salvaged binder's waste discarded near the end of a complete pressrun and later bound.
Princeton copy 1: Imperfect: alto part only.

Donna ch'ornata sete
Qual' e piu grand'o amore
Chi con eterna legge
En voz a dieux dames cesses voz pleurs
