    The Ministry of Seniors is responsible for the well-being and quality of life of Alberta seniors and those in need of housing. The ministry is responsible for the creation of affordable housing options for Albertans most in need and helping Alberta's aging population lead healthy and independent lives. This annual report of the Ministry of Seniors contains the audited consolidated financial statements of the Ministry and a comparison of actual performance results to desired results set out in the ministry business plan. This ministry annual report also includes: the financial statements of entities making up the Ministry; and other financial information as required, either as separate reports or as a part of the financial statements, to the extent that the ministry has anything to report.--Document.
