    This study presents a descriptive profile of the labour force characteristics of the Métis using data from the 2012 Aboriginal Peoples Survey (APS). Where applicable, and to provide context, APS estimates for the Métis are compared with estimates for the total population from the Labour Force Survey (LFS). This document includes highlights, employment rate, age standardized employment rate by sex, employment rate by province, national occupation classification, average months of job tenure by sex and age groups, selected reasons for working part-time, unemployment rate by sex, and reported difficulties in finding work.--Includes text from document.
