Summary note
Description: Prompt book of a 5-Act version marked by H.B. Phillips for Hackett at the Astor Place Opera House in 1848. Also dated 1861 and 1862. Also contains a playbill for Leland Opera House [Albany, N.Y.] (Mrs. J. H. Hackett as Medea), press notices of Mrs. J. H. Hackett and a manuscript prop letter with note at top: "This is the paper I held in my hand when I made my appearance in Lady Macbeth March 20th 1875" (Mrs. J. H. Hackett).
