Notes
The Cameroons under the United Kingdom Trusteeship consisted of two mountainous strips divided by the Benue river by a gap of approximately 45 miles.

Map shows: international, provincial, Nigeria-Cameroons, divisional, and district boundaries; customs stations; two classes of roads; railways; lighthouses; telegraph lines; wireless stations; and native courts. The Trust Territory administered as part of Bornu, Adamawa, Benue, is shown by color code.
