    • This copy without the the outer blank sheet of the final quire recorded in BMC. Spaces for rubricated headings on [a]1r and [ss]1r, 10- to 1 line spaces for initials. South German rubrication: headings and headlines supplied in red; Lombard initials, many with flourishes or foliate tendril extensions, in red or blue; brackets (in the tables), paragraph marks, underlining and capital strokes in red.

    HSVR copy: Bound in 2 volumes for Hilprand Brandenburg in contemporary blind-stamped alum-tawed pigskin over part-bevelled wooden boards, from the "Phönix" workshop (Kyriss 162), covers with blind fillets formings a panel design, differing between the two volumes but using some of the same stamps. Titles lettered in ms. at head of spines "Summa casuum Astexandi"; chased brass center-and cornerpieces with bosses, two fore-edge leather and brass clasps on lower covers.
