    Short detective novel set in Port-au-Prince. Louis-Philippe Dalembert (1962) is a prize-winning, international renowned Haitian poet and fiction writer. He writes in both French and Haitian Creole. Some of his most recent works include, in narrative Les dieux voyagent la nuit (2006), Histoires d'amour impossibles... ou presque (2007), Epi oun jou konsa tèt Pastè Bab pati (2007), Noires blessures (2011) and Les bas-fonds de la mémoire (2012) in poetry Poème pour accompagner l'absence (2005), and Transhumances (2010), among many others.
