    Summary note
Catalog from an exhibition of couturier Paul Poiret's art collection at Galerie Barbazanges. Located on the same premise as Poiret's Paris couture house, Barbazanges had a separate entrance. While it seems Poiret was involved in its founding, it was officially owned and operated by an art dealer, Henri Barbazanges. The catalog is undated but this exhibition is believed to have taken place in 1923, two years before Poiret's financial situation would force him to place his collection up for auction with Drouot.
