Summary note

1975年冬, 广东汕头地区潮安县出土了一个极其珍贵的戏曲文本-《刘希必金钗记》. 这是一件完整的古代戏曲写本, 是十五世纪遗留下来的纸本文物, 是中国现存最古老的戏曲手稿原件, 是国内及广东戏曲文化的瑰宝. 《金钗记》出土后, 本书作者陈历明先生立即前往潮安, 参加对此件的整理. 不久, 他相继在广州, 上海, 北京等地的报刊发表文章, 介绍出土情况. 此后, 他又撰写, 出版专著, 对这一戏曲文献加以系统论述. 多年来, 陈历明先生持续对《金钗记》展开研究, 在研究的深度和广度上取得了不少重要的成果, 本书就是其研究成果的展示. 他在书中以戏剧体系立论, 认为中国程式性戏剧体系在十五世纪已经成熟, 潮安出土的明本《金钗记》就是其重要的实物标本.
