  • Illustrations: Each alphabet rhyme is each illustrated by a vignette of the animal mentioned in the rhyme, accompanying a large colored alphabet letter; below the rhymes are illustrations of other animals two-by-two; uncolored line-art animal illustrations on pastedowns, including two giraffes with their heads poking through the roof of the Ark on lower pastedown.
