    Summary note
    A collection of idiomela and doxastika for the feasts of the Lord, the Holy Virgin, and of the saints from September to January. Bound manuscript in glazed Arabic paper. It is written in Greek script, in red and black ink. The manuscript bears numerous large ornamental initial letters in red ink and a decorated headpiece in red and green on folio 1r.; 199 unnumbered folia. Inscription on fol. 1r indicates the name of the compiler: "Archē syn theō hagiō stichērariōn kalophōnikon. Poiēthen para kyr Germanou archiereos neōn patrōn ek Tyrnavou. mēn septemvrios eis tēn a archē tēs indiktou ētoi tou [...] etous kai mnēmē tou hosiou patros ēmōn symeōn tou stylitou stichēra idiomela doxa." The compiler was a bishop of New Patras (now Hypatē, Greece). Manuscript is bound in a contemporary with the script blind-tooled binding on wooden boards covered with goat skin, with an Annunciation scene on the front panel and a double-headed eagle on the back as a symbol of the Patriarchate. Two end clasps at foredge; sewn on 5 bands; endbands with secondary sewing in red and green. Former owner's inscription on the endleaf.
