"Société Anonyme Inc. (Museum of Modern Art) ... has been founded to provide a public non-commercial center for the study and promotion of Modern Art. In addition to exhibitions of paintings and sculpture, changing every 6 weeks during the year, the Museum places at the disposal of visitors a complete carefully selected Reference Library on Modern Art, including books and magazines from various European countries. The Museum does not sell any works exhibited under its direction, but gladly brings any prospective buyer directly in touch with the artist."--P. [3].
