Summary note
Greek manuscript hymnal (Byzantine notation) containing music by D. P. I. Makrēs. Organized in the form of Byzantine music lessons. Late 19th/early 20th-century; previous owner's note on flyleaf dates the volume before 1922. Handwritten previous owner's note on flyleaf reads: “Ktēma Hieropsaltou Kōnstantinou G. Voukouna. 6 Iouliou 1922. Chios.” Corner of p. 397 is detached and laid in between pp. 396-397. Also laid in are two notes and one news clipping, used as bookmarks. Contemporary quarter calf (very worn).
