    • Title, publisher, and series from upper wrapper, which serves as t.p.; publisher's advertisement on lower wrapper for "the series of Aunt Mavor's picture books for little children" lists this title as no. 11.
    • 4 bifolia, printed on one side only, with first and last leaves pasted down to wrappers.
    • Longer words in the text are divided into syllables, as in other early "Aunt Mavor's Picture Book" titles.
    • Text begins: "This is a strange pic-ture! Seven small boys, one upon the back of the o-ther, ... His parents were poor peo-ple, who work-ed in a wood."
    • Illustrations: hand-colored engraving after Crowquill (cf. Masaki) on each page in red, blue, yellow, salmon, green, and purple with printed text below.
