    Summary note
    A compilation of Greek Orthodox ecclesiastical law. This is an 18th-century Greek manuscript on paper, 365 leaves, with a marginal decoration of a hand in colors and a three-quarter page portrait of Christ, bound in 18th-century red gilt-tooled morocco, possibly Eastern European, frontside with floriate roll border, seraphim at angles, a central lozenge containing a stamp of the Crucifixion, the back with differing roll border, floral cornerpieces, a central mandorla containing a stamp of the Virgin and Child, spine in compartments and gilt with floral tools, edges stained blue and with gilt floral tooling, gilt leather straps with metal catches and clasps.
