    • 27 boxes of slides, 1 box of negatives, 3 boxes of ring-bound 3x5 card sets, and 1 box of empty original slide housings.
    • Access is provided by a listing of contents and an index of 3 ring-bound card sets. The slides are 3.5 x 4 inches (10 x 8.5 cm).
    • Called the 'Wheeler Slide Collection,' probably because these slides were made by the New York firm DeWitt C. Wheeler.
    • Boxes 22 and 23 have slides with the imprint of Edward Van Altena.
