    • The collection consists of original poems, stories, and essays that were printed in the special Autumn 2001/Winter 2002 issue of the Princeton University Library Chronicle (Vol. LXIII, nos. 1 and 2, edited by Gretchen Oberfranc), as well as the related editorial correspondence. This issue celebrated the works of contemporary Jewish American writers. Represented writers include Paul Auster, Saul Bellow, Harold Bloom, E. L. Doctorow, Robert Fagles, Jorie Graham, Arthur Miller, Cynthia Ozick, Robert Pinsky, Adrienne Rich, Laurie Sheck, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Susan Sontag, C. K. Williams, and Louis Zukofsky. The issue coincided with an exhibition and catalog featuring the Leonard L. Milberg Collection of Jewish American Writers. Included are correspondence files for some libraries, publications, and photographers whose contributions were essential to the exhibition. Additionally, there are photographs of over 80 of the Jewish American writers represented in the Milberg collection.
