Princeton copy 1 Thx copy 1 is a promptbook of the Boston Museum, with the inscriptions of the Museum and the ink stamp of the William Seymour Theatre Collection. This copy, which is interleaved, has stage directions in ink.
Princeton copy 2 Thx copy 2 is a rehearsal copy for the character of Captain Phobbs, marked in ink, and includes the autograph signatures of Charles J. Mestayer (in various forms) and the ink stamp of the William Seymour Theatre Collection. This copy includes a ms. cast list for a performance in Boston in 1847, as well as underscoring and other markings in ink.
