Ex copy: Bequest of William Augustus White to PUL in 1928. Purchased by White at Brayton Ives sale in 1891. Ives purchased it at Joseph J. Cooke sale in 1883. Cooke purchased it from Eugene N. Robinson, who bought it in 1874 at Sir William Tite's sale. Provenance from Robert F. Roden, New York Times, Apr. 2, 1898, p. BR216.
WHS copy one is Thomas Brooke and E. H. Gilbert's copy, acquired 7/19/22 from Drake.
WHS copy two is the Parker family copy, acquired 4/22/35 via Rosenbach.
