First edition. The date of publication has not been definitely established and the number of plates varies in most copies. According to Mauban (Mauban: Marot, p. 99-107), it contained from 112 to 115 plates but is usually found with 122 unnumbered plates. This copy has the 122 plates listed and 2 additional plates entitled: Manteau de Cheminee.--Cf. Fowler Cat., no. 193.
