Summary note
Album of original cartoons, watercolors, and pen-and-ink sketches; contains 259 sketches and a few printed cartoons, including one "sent to Punch January 1868", presumably by Willock. The album is signed by Gore Willock, son of George. A collection of original art work by George Boileau Willock, born 1832, and his artistic friends. The album was passed to his son, Gore Wynard Willock, 1861-1910. Two printed items are laid in: A legend of Broadstairs : for private circulation only. Broadstairs : Printed by E. Cantwell ... , [18--?]. Signed: G.B.W.; and A true tale : told by Mariah Hane to Sarah Jane, inscribed "Gore from the Author."
