Summary note
Untitled photograph album containing 171 black-and-white photographs (measuring from 6 x 9 cm to 11 x 10.5 cm) of several places of Greece. Included are scenes of fishermen, rural life, school students, Byzantine monuments and archaeological sites, such as the Monasteries of the Holy Meteora in Kalabaka, Thessaly, the monastery of Parēgorētissa in Arta, the ancient theater in Delphi, the Fortress in Patra, the Venetian Castle in Nafpaktos, the mansion of George Mavros (Schwartz) in Ampelakia, Larissa, the house of Paulos Kountouriōtēs in Hydra, Achaia Clauss, and Chania in Crete. Photographs are placed one to eight per page both in recto and verso; several of them bear a penciled number on the mat board.
