    Notes
    • Collection of Italian and French madrigals in four parts (SATB). Table of contents in alphabetical order called "Tavola Delli Madrigali Numero 26" at the end of each partbook.
    • Updated imprint. A preliminary evaluation of vendor-supplied information and images has led Jessie Ann Owens (Princeton *78) to conjecture a printing date between 1554 and 1559; this partbook may represent salvaged binder's waste discarded near the end of a complete pressrun and later bound.
    • Princeton copy 1: Imperfect: alto part only.
