Summary note:
The artist tests the delineations of the social body through numerous performances that discuss the problems of immigration, isolation, identity and history, which can not be approached by academic historiography as much as by the experience of the testimony .. "In Situ": is a project by Janet Cecilia Toro Benavides that considers the development of five performance and facilities in the exterior spaces of the Museum of Memory. It is a work that deepens in the Human Rights from the present world and the effects of the power in the diverse aspects of the civil life. Some actions will address the reality of indigenous peoples, immigration, the spaces we inhabit, the issue of credit, debt, etc. I believe that art is not a luxury, it is a right and a fundamental necessity.
