    Summary note
    • "No voy a pedirle a nadie que me crea", the different narrators and characters of this story often warn us, in which the ordinary becomes a delusion without one knowing very well how, in which the strange ends up being normal and in which we can't do anything but laugh, because everything is hilarious, everyday and surreal at the same time, like life itself. It all starts with a cousin who, as a boy, pointed out ways of being a scammer, and who now puts the protagonist - a Mexican who travels to Barcelona accompanied by his girlfriend to study literature, and who also calls himself the author of the novel - in a monumental mess: a high-level business that turns your stay in the city into a kind of black novel with black humor, one of those that he would like to write.--back cover.
