    清凉寺史前墓地位于山西芮城县东北部中条山南麓两条山涧夹峙的南北向台塬上,台塬的西面是始建于元大德七年的清凉寺,墓地也因此得名.遗址南与河南灵宝市隔黄河相望;北与运城市,永济市以中条山脊为界,墓地接近恭水涧的源头;西北侧呈弧形被山梁包围,东侧为一条自然冲沟.
