Summary note
"Through type-variety-mode classification, the manuscript details and illustrates the ceramic sequence for prehistoric Maya sites in the Holmul region, Guatemala. The ceramic sequence spans approximately 1,600 years and encompasses nine ceramic complexes and one sub-complex." It is formatted as a catalog of the types, with illustrations, in a chronological framework. With the addition of a concluding chapter, the authors will intend to show how the sequence should be used in future research in the Holmul region and beyond in Mayan archaeology--Provided by publisher.
