237. 1. An account of the value of corn and other grain, and flour imported into Great Britain (except from Ireland); from the year 1800 to the year 1810, both inclusive. 2. An account of the official value of exports from, and of imports into Great Britain, for the year 1790, and in every year since to 1809, inclusive. 4. An account of the quantity of grain, malt, meal, and flour imported into Great Britain in each year, from the year 1772, to the present time..

238. (1.) An account, showing the amount of money invested by the Commissioners for the Reduction of the National Debt, in the purchase of capital stock, in any of the public funds; together with the amount of such capital stock, and of the interest annually payable thereon, purchased and obtained by the said commissioners for the same; in the years ending 12th June 1814, 16th November 1814, 14th June 1814, 14th June 1815, and 15th June 1816, respectively.

242. (1.) Army. Returns of the number of officers in the army who have been promoted by brevet, since the accession of His Present Majesty; of the number of officers who have purchased unattached commissions; of the number of officers who were promoted under the general order which conferred unattached promotion upon regimental officers with superior brevet rank; of the number of officers upon half-pay having brevet rank, who were promoted to unattached commissions in the year 1830; of the number of lieutenants who have taken the unattached rank of captain; with abstract table of the whole; and number of appointments to first commissions; number of officers upon half pay, who have been appointed to clear vacancies upon full pay; and total number of officers in the army on the 1st July 1831.

243. 1. Civil list; third class: viz. --I.-- Return of the number of ministers, charges d'affaires, secretaries, or agents, of the British government, (not being consuls) at the different courts and states abroad; stating, the court or state where resident, the total amount of salary and allowances of each, and of their establishments, together with all extraordinary and incidental charges of every kind, in the years 1792, and 1821, and the dates of those appointed since 1792, with the time of the increase of the salaries and allowances to the present rates:--so far as relates to the Foreign Office. --II. a.-- Return of all the British consuls and vice consuls abroad; their names, place of residence, salaries and allowances of every kind paid by government, and whether the duty is performed by deputy or in person; for the years 1792, and 1821; and, if established or the salaries increased since 1792, the date of establishment, and of increase of salary:--so far as relates to the foreign office. --II. b.-- Return of the British consuls and vice consuls resident in the states of Barbary; their names, salaries and allowances of every kind paid by government, and whether the duty is performed by deputy or in person; for the years 1792, and 1821; and, if established or the salaries increased since 1792, the date of establishment and increase of salary. --III.-- A return of the total amount of pensions paid in 1792, and 1821, to ministers late resident at foreign courts, and of consuls, whether paid from the civil list or any other source; distinguishing the amount to each, and the number of years service of each minister and consul:--so far as relates to the Exchequer, and the secretaries of states offices. --IV.-- Return of the name of any ministers appointed since January 1822; the place to which appointed, the amount of outfit, and of annual salary, and of the establishment of his residency.

246. (1.) (Ireland.) A return and amount of sums of money charged to the incidents of the excise of Ireland, for payments made to officers of excise, in satisfaction of their share of fines for illicit distillation, or crimes connected therewith; specifying all such sums, and the date of orders for payment; from the 1st day of January 1816, until the 12th of March 1818.

247. (1.) King's Bench Prison repairs. Return to orders of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 28th June 1822;--for returns of sums expended by the Office of Works, upon the repairs of the King's Bench Prison and its appurtenances, during the period that the present marshal, William Jones, Esq. has held his office, distinguishing the amount so expended in each year; also, of the amount of sums repaid by the marshal in each year, since he has held that office, on account of the sums so expended by the Board of Works upon the repairs of the said prison and its appurtenances.

248. 1. Newfoundland. Abstract of a return (presented 5 May 1819) to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 9th March 1819; so far as relates to the names and number of tons of the several vessels employed in the trade in and from the island of Newfoundland, since the ratification of the Treaty of Peace; with the number of men belonging to each vessel, whither they have arrived, and from whence dispatched; from the 5th January 1815 to the 10th October 1818, being the latest period to which the same can be made up.
